Just Baked SLO was founded in 2010 by friends Annie Farrell and Meghan Hoetker. They had a simple vision of delighting students at Cal Poly with deliveries of fresh-baked cookies—their award-winning Flagship Chocolate Chip™ Cookie at the helm. Their menu offerings expanded to include additional cookie flavors, and eventually a full line of desserts and cakes for weddings and special events. Annie opened the doors to the Just Baked SLO Pastry Bar in Santa Margarita in 2014. In July of 2016, Just Baked SLO merged with She Makes Cakes, owned and operated by talented cake artist Libby Ryan, to form Just Baked Cake Studio & Bakery.

After several awards, magazine and online features and television appearances our little bakery grew and so did we! Our Paso Robles location opened its doors on August 1, 2020 inside the beautiful Paso Robles Market Walk with former owner of Paper Cake Events as the sister locations’ Executive Pastry Chef. We dropped the “cake studio & bakery” to make way for an expanded menu and now just call ourselves Just Baked!

In time, we grew out of our tiny and well loved home in Santa Margarita and began building our dream home in Downtown Paso Robles on the park! In August of 2023 we opened the doors to our flagship location expanding all of our offerings specifically breakfast and adding coffee as well. You can now enjoy Just Baked treats at our Downtown shop or our Petite Sweets Boutique at the Paso Market Walk that offers a smaller offering of our desserts. We love inviting our customers in to the shop downtown, pouring them a signature latte, grabbing them a croissant and talking to them about their stay in Paso or visiting with our regulars each morning.

We now ship all over the United States and we continue to play an active role within our community by giving back whenever we can and donating as often as possible!
